Neeta Pedersen

Neeta Pedersen

Neeta Pedersen, a Danish artist, moved to England to study art and design in 1997. In 1999 she went to New York to study at the New York Film Academy and 2006 she graduated with a BA (Hons) in animation from University of Westminster, London. A broad artistic perspective enables her to work in various art forms including painting, sculpture, illustration, digital art and animation – all of which compliment each other. Neeta demonstrates, through her  work, her very own signature style. Showing an imaginary world of femininity, eroticism, sensuality and elegancy – dominantly portraying the female figure with distorted beauty, metaphorical objects, contrasts and surreal elements making her work seemingly mysterious. Her work has been exhibited in Danish and English art galleries. Her film, Disharmonious Coincidence, was selected by the British Council (Film & Literature) to be included in the 2006 edition of the British Films Catalogue and has been screened on various film festivals.
